McCarthy & Associates Financial Consultants Ltd was established in 1994 and is an Authorised Advisor, which allows us to provide independent advice to our clients on a wide range of financial products. It is important to note that most Financial Consultants are authorised as multi-agency intermediaries and accordingly can only provide advice/sell products on behalf of institutions for which they hold appointments. Unlike McCarthy & Associates, these companies are not permitted to provide broad based financial advice.
David McCarthy MMII, managing director, is a former branch manager with T.S.B. Bank in Galway. He has 16 years banking experience and previously was a branch manager in Limerick/Galway. Prior to joining T.S.B. he worked for the accounting firm Price Waterhouse Cooper.
David's extensive experience in banking enables him to offer clients a comprehensive and innovative financial and banking advice service.
His experience in the area of financial advice has opened doors to local radio duscussions dealing with financial matters. David is a regular weekly contributor to a section on the Keith Finnegan Show on Galway Bay FM radio called "MoneyTalk"
This weekly financial advice slot airs each Thursday morning, at 10.45am, where David and Keith Finnegan discuss the financial highlights of the week, as well as, having your questions answered on air.
